There are plenty of DJ’s out there that make their living mashing and mixing up popular songs together. Some do it better than others. It happens.

The White Panda is a group that does it VERY well. Consisting of Tom Evans (Procrast) and Dan Griffith (DJ Griffi), the two guys have been making mixes with each other on and off for seven years. In 2009 then formed The White Panda as a permanent collaborative effort. Located in LA, most of their shows are primarily on college campuses. You may able to catch them at a bar in Cali or Chi-Town.

   

The latest album release, “Rematch” includes some extremely fresh mixes like: Notorious B.I.G vs. The Who, or for those Beiber fans, Birdman vs. Justin Bieber. They’ve really taken to a mix of the original hip hop artists and new mainstream or classic indie. Their first album, “Versus,” has an equally great selection.
